Beyond the Classroom

Co-curricular Excellence

A packed calendar of activities that build discipline, creativity and confidence alongside the academic day.

Dance

Rhythm, Discipline and Stage Confidence

Our dance programme introduces students to both classical and contemporary forms, building rhythm, coordination and stage presence session by session. Beyond the steps, it teaches discipline and teamwork — students rehearse together, perform together, and learn to carry themselves with confidence in front of an audience. Dance productions are a regular feature of school assemblies and annual events, giving every participant a real stage to work towards.

Building Focus, Flexibility and Calm

Yoga sessions are part of the weekly routine from the primary years onward, building flexibility, balance and body awareness through age-appropriate postures and breathing exercises. Just as importantly, the practice gives students tools for focus and calm that carry over into the classroom — a few minutes of stillness before a busy school day makes a real difference to how children settle into their lessons. It's taught as a life skill, not a one-off activity.

Swimming

A Pool Built for Every Age Group

The school swimming pool, half the size of an Olympic pool, is where students learn water safety, stroke technique and the fitness that comes with regular swimming. A dedicated shallow pool area for our Kindergarten children means even our youngest swimmers start in a space built for them, supported by separate bath areas for boys and girls and well-maintained, regularly changed water. Coaching runs through the year, from first-time swimmers to students training for inter-school meets.

Skating

Speed, Balance and Fearless Practice

Skating sessions build balance, core strength and the kind of fearless practice that comes from falling, getting up and trying again. Coaches take students through a structured progression, from basic balance and stopping to speed and technique on quad and inline skates, on a dedicated rink surface within the campus. It is one of the more physically demanding co-curricular options on offer, and consistently one of the most popular.

Games

Team Sports on Our Own Grounds

Our sports ground hosts a full calendar of team games — football, basketball, cricket and athletics among them — coached by dedicated sports staff and open to every age group. Beyond fitness, team games teach students to win and lose gracefully, communicate under pressure and show up for their teammates. House matches, inter-class tournaments and inter-school fixtures give students at every level a real competition to train towards.

General Knowledge

Curiosity About the World Beyond the Syllabus

Our General Knowledge programme runs alongside the regular curriculum, building awareness of current affairs, science, history and culture through quizzes, reading challenges and classroom discussion. It draws heavily on the school library and its English Reading Club, which already builds the reading and comprehension habits GK depends on. Regular quiz competitions, both in-house and inter-school, give students a reason to keep that curiosity active outside the classroom.

Creative Thinking & Life Skills

Practical Skills for Real Problems

Our Creative Thinking Activities & Life Skills programme sits deliberately outside the textbook — design challenges, hands-on projects and problem-solving exercises that ask students to build, test and improve their own ideas. It runs alongside our robotics and STEM activities, and shares the same goal: give students practice at thinking for themselves rather than reciting an answer. Life skills sessions cover communication, decision-making and the everyday problem-solving children will need well beyond their school years.

Learning Resource Programme

Extra Support, Matched to the Student

The Learning Resource Programme gives students who need extra support outside the regular classroom pace a structured, one-on-one or small-group space to catch up and build confidence. Trained staff work with students on the specific concepts they find difficult, at a pace that suits them, rather than a generic remedial track. The goal is straightforward: no child should fall behind simply because a classroom of thirty moved on before they were ready.

After School Activities

A Full Afternoon, Beyond the School Bell

Our after-school programme extends the school day with music, art, craft and club activities for students whose families want more structured time on campus beyond regular hours. Sessions rotate through the week, so a student can pick up an instrument one day and a craft project the next, all supervised by school staff on the same campus they already know. It is built for working parents as much as for the students themselves — a safe, engaging way to fill the hours after the last bell.
